I like it here because: The workers are upbeat and friendly. The unique shape of the building which has a lot of windows and views from three sides. The main windows face East and West. If the sun gets to be too much, there are shades that you can pull down whenever you'd like. The down town location. Now they have a Blonde roast brew, coffee that tastes good! I especially like their iced Chi, it's sweet with a clove flavor. Wi-fi is always free, of course.

It's Starbucks, you get what you pay for. There are so many great LOCAL coffee shops in the area, which you should definitely go to instead of Starbucks. I have spent many hours in Starbucks and feel slimy and evil each time I'm there... Why cause they want to close down the local shops...

I absolutely love the location in Old Town, the baristas are usually very upbeat and friendly. But the last three times I've been to this particular location I was helped by the same barista with dark brown hair, who was very rude each time. All three times she messed up my order entirely, which at first didn't bother me much. But three times? She also made me feel stupid and gave me a rude look when I asked her if she could make the drink that I ordered. When she made it again she made it the wrong size and it didn't even taste like a Starbucks product. She also overcharged me once, adding another drink I did not order, and got upset when I told her it was not correct. Will not be returning when she is there.

Hey ... when did Starbucks stop burning their beans? Seriously, for years -- no, decades -- I have failed to understand how anyone could actually enjoy their charred-tasting, over-roasted brew. I've always suspected it was deliberate, to make their plain brewed coffee so unpalatable that you pretty much have to order a latte or mocha or some other expensive drink ... so I really don't go to Starbucks all that often. However, I recently met-up with a co-worker here, and while we were meeting they brought around samples of a new medium roast. Surprisingly, it was smooth and well-balanced. I'd still much rather that we had a Peet's nearby, but now if I found myself in the midst of a caffeine emergency I could actually see myself stopping in at Starbucks.

Dear Starbucks, As long as you want to charge me for wi-fi access, or put me through an interrogation to register for it, I will not come to your place to work and have some coffee and snacks. Great location! It's fun to sit in here. Open on Thanksgiving. They'll make hot drinks a bit cooler for youngsters which I appreciate. And they'll give me the code for the restroom when I'm out running.
